Moses 6:34

“Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.”

Things you can do to prepare for trek

Go for hikes, walks, or enjoy vigorous outdoor activities. Those who are used to exercising in the heat have a considerably easier time pushing a handcart and enduring a long walk in these conditions.

Learn about some pioneers. You may want to learn more about your own ancestors and find qualities you admire in them. We’d like to invite you to rescue at least one of your ancestors by finding them, and doing ordinance work for them in the temple. If none fit that criteria, look up other ancestors and their stories of accomplishment (and hardship).

For the young women, you may choose to help them make skirts and/or bloomers for trek for an activity. (clothing patterns)

Young Men – Can start looking now for clothes at the DI. As it gets closer to time for trek, the choices can be limited.
